Why we procrastinate
Yesterday, I organized my beads again and cleaned my beading tools. I may just restart again. I want to restart, but procrastination gets in the way. I have this on-off relationship with my beads… sometimes I love them and give them all of my precious time, oftentimes I ignore them and they just accumulate rust and dust.
It makes me happy and excited visualizing a beaded jewelry project,...
My partner in crime
I wrote this a few months ago, because Mabel’s officemate requested us to compose a letter for her, which was used in their team building / retreat. I found it again as i was deleting messages in my yahoo inbox yesterday. This made me miss her more and i thought of sharing this to you.

Food Trip, Part 6 of 6 : Cyma Greek Taverna
6. Cyma Greek Taverna
This is the last leg and I enjoyed CYMA the most out of the six restaurants that we tried during my christmas vacation. I loved the food, service and ambiance! Waiters shouting OPA! when they serve something flaming made my heart jump and i just laughed! Hahaha. Just the thought of writing this blog entry, makes me hungry!
It is conveniently located at Unit 638, Level 6,...
Thoughts on Turning 30
I still have less than two years before I turn thirty… and you may ask me why am I writing this blog entry now? In fact, I have not even decided yet if I am looking forward or if I am dreading the fact that I am nearing thirty? But I am leaning towards the former.
A few years ago, I came to know who my real friends are, those that I constantly communicate with even if we don’t see...

CNY Activities
I’ve been constanly checking airfare ticket, but it’s so effin’ expensive! We initially wanted to go home again for the CNY holidays, just to experience “Garnet” as a family. I’m so jealous when Mabel messaged me yesterday, saying that they already have “Garnet.”
(Note : “Garnet” is a car, hehehe)
I decided to vent my...
Food Trip, Part 4 of 6 : Meat Plus
4. Meat Plus Cafe
Located at Bldg. 65, Sampson Road, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo
Cuisine : American
Before we head to Morong, Bataan for our yearly out-of-town trip, we decided to pass by Subic first and do some shopping. Kuya suggested that we eat lunch at Meat Plus Cafe because it’s the best steak in Subic! He told us that everytime they go to Subic for Honda Club events,...
Food Trip, Part 3 of 6 : Cafe Havana
3. Cafe Havana
Located at G/F Greenbelt 3, Ayala Center, Makati City
Café Havana is the hands-down choice of bar enthusiasts. This famous bar is a happening place that transformed the Remedios Circle from a genteel promenade into a throbbing section of charming Malate. Café Havana is Latino-Cubano, and it lives the spirit of the islands from its décor to its food and music. Since it’s opening in...
Writing deadlines
via jimparedes:
Been writing a column for more than three years now, and I have not missed a single week. I have been pretty much reliable and have managed to come out with something for my column in Philippine Star each Sunday for the past 168 weeks or so. My editor must be happy.
Yet every week, I go through the ritual where I stare at the computer screen wondering what to write and worrying...

Christmas Traditions in the Philippines
Source : Wikipedia
The other day, i was telling my Burmese colleague about the Christmas Memories i had since i was young. I learned that they don’t really celebrate Christmas since they are buddhist. They don’t put up Christmas Trees & decors and they don’t believe in Santa Claus.
For us Filipinos and Catholics, we could not imagine celebrating Christmas without all...
