Food Trip, Part 3 of 6 : Cafe Havana
3. Cafe Havana
Located at G/F Greenbelt 3, Ayala Center, Makati City
Café Havana is the hands-down choice of bar enthusiasts. This famous bar is a happening place that transformed the Remedios Circle from a genteel promenade into a throbbing section of charming Malate. Café Havana is Latino-Cubano, and it lives the spirit of the islands from its décor to its food and music. Since it’s opening in Greenbelt 3, Café Havana has quickly become the hottest bar in Makati.

I found this restaurant very interesting since i have not really tried Cuban Cuisine. The lunch buffet have so many sinful foods —- lamb chops, chicken, pork (litson). As well as the healthy ones —- fish, vegetable salad, tomato soup, etc. Sorry, we did not get to take picture of the food, we must be very hungry already. Hahaha!
Eventhough we only had about an hour to pig out, it was still good, i would love to come back again and try out a different set of lunch buffet. I prefer buffet to have lesser dishes so i can try and enjoy each one of them.
The place exudes that South American feel, courtesy of the food, interiors and background music. I just had to say that the crowd is mostly middle aged people, between 40-60 years old! Or was it just coincidence? Hahahaha. Nevertheless, it’s a great place to hang out!
