Food Trip, Part 5 of 6 : Pho Hoa
5. Pho Hoa Vietnamese Restaurant
Located at 277 Toledo Bldg, Tomas Morato Street, Quezon City.
Cuisine : Vietnamese
We headed to Tomas Morato for lunch after Kuya had his check up at St. Luke’s. It was a choice between Little Asia and Pho Hoa, i told my dad i wanted to try Vietnamese food.
And we were not disappointed because this is our kind of food. Paka-healthy lang muna! I got this from their website :
All Pho Hoa Restaurants feature naturally flavored, low calorie, delicious soups with the choicest slices of brisket, flank and eye round steak. Each bowl of soup is accompanied with fresh coriander leaves, bean sprouts, hot peppers and lemon wedges to give our customers a complete, nutritious and well balanced meal.
We ordered the Vermicelli bowl, Beef noodles, Breaded tofu with mushroom and red pepper sauce, Vietnamese fish with yellow beans and Chicken salad.

Since i’m so used to eating beef noodles soup in Singapore, the Pho Hoa version of beef noodles did not appeal that much to me. It was a bit salty. Though the rest of the food we ordered were nice especially the vietnamese fish and it’s always exciting to try something new.
Minus points to the restaurants fast-food like interiors. They should have exerted more effort in making the restaurant pleasing to the eyes and inviting to the customers. For my next visit, i will order the fish, salad and tofu again.
