Food Trip, Part 6 of 6 : Cyma Greek Taverna
This is the last leg and I enjoyed CYMA the most out of the six restaurants that we tried during my christmas vacation. I loved the food, service and ambiance! Waiters shouting OPA! when they serve something flaming made my heart jump and i just laughed! Hahaha. Just the thought of writing this blog entry, makes me hungry!
It is conveniently located at Unit 638, Level 6, Shangrila Mall, Mandaluyong City. Well, Shangrila is my favorite mall.
Some excerpts from their website :
A greek inspired restaurant which provides the Philippine dining market one of the healthiest and richest cuisines in the world. With a dining experience which displays simplicity and elegance every step of the way.
Cyma’s new menu offers a wide range of healthy greek fare, an integration of culture and flavors. Staples of greek kitchen like olive oil, vegetables, yogurt, honey, grilled fish, meats and cheese, and a judicious use of herbs and spices tops almost all of the impressive dishes found at Cyma.
January 4. We wanted to dine together as a family before Kuya and I come back to Singapore for work. Sad but I’m glad we chose this place. You could expect nothing but delightful meals, from all the people lining up to eat there.

What do i know about greek food? Close to nothing actually, but I thought they had lamb chops or something like that. I did not know that they had so many vegetable dishes in their menu. What an enjoyable experience! Learning about a country through it’s food.
We ordered Spinach and Artichoke Fondue, Kakavia (Greek Fisherman’s Stew), a pasta dish, the name of which escapes my memory as of the moment, i think it’s Pastitsio and Cyma Lamb Chops. Oh my, so did everything i just described made you hungry already?

Everything we ate is delicioso, so I’m definitely coming back. Highly-recommended! Bring your family and friends because their food is meant to be shared!
